    Description

    Up for auction is an amazing replica of a Snakehead fish.  Often called "Frankenfish" for their monster-like appearance, this fish is native to Africa and Asia. This is another invasive species that is expected to raise havoc on the ecosystem of our US waterways.  Northern Snakeheads are know for having sharp teeth, slimy skin, a voracious appetite and the ability to survive on land for days at a time.  This was modeled after a specimen caught in Maryland this year.  Made of fiberglass, it is 34 inches long, 15 pounds and mounted on a rock base.  It is finished on both sides.  Molded and painted by a professional taxidermist with over 35 years experience.  This is a custom mount, meaning one will be made for you after you win the auction.  So please ask questions before bidding!  All sales final on this auction.  There are no returns.  We accept major credit cards, but prefer paypal.
