12" RED BELLIED PACU - unpainted fiberglass reproduction blank

All blanks are two sided with open gills on most species .
You are bidding on an unpainted blank fiberglass reproduction of a
12" RED BELLIED PACU  - Piaractus brachypomum .
I can finish and paint this for you for extra $ . Ask for price .
Can also be used for a Black pacu .
A common aquarium fish ,  Red Bellied Pacu are closely related to Piranhas put are unlike their feared cousins vegetarians.
They can grow very large and can sometimes reach 30 inches/ 75 cm
but they usually don’t reach that size when kept in an aquarium tank.
Native to the Rio Orinoco and Amazon basins in Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil. Introduced populations are thriving in various parts of the world .
You will be getting the fish as it comes out of the mold . All you need to do is wash in warm water to remove the green PVA mold release , then use tin snips or a hack saw and trim the excess flange off the blank , sand the seams , cut out and install fins ,and paint .
